With generous funding from the NRCS, Compass is now adding a seasonal high tunnel to our farm! This new feature will allow us to extend our growing season even further into the school year!
The Compass School is the largest school farm in the state of RI! Features of our program include:
- 19 large rectangular raised beds
- 10 hexagonal raised beds
- 12 4 ft X 100 ft. rows for in-ground food production
- Outdoor classroom
- Dahlia garden
- Fruit trees and shrubs
- 3 Sisters Gardens
- Biodiversity/Pollinator garden
- Wildlife Habitat maze
- 1 mile perimeter hiking trail
- Gazebrary (gazebo/library combination)
- Greenhouse
- Farm Headquarters Building
