The Baby Bulls Have Arrived!

Compass is the proud host of two 2-week old baby bulls!  So far, our visiting animal program has offered our students an opportunity to connect with goats, sheep and now bulls.

The nervous energy that our students once had about larger animals has dissipated completely and they now approach large animals with confidence.  Check out Evie, a 2nd year Explorer (1st grade), as she snuggles with a bull!

Our big job right now is to teach the bulls that humans = good.  That way, as they get HUGE, they remember to be gentle with us.

Compass families that are interested in caring for the baby bulls are welcome to help!  These guys are bottle-fed and need a lot of love.  We’ll be in contact about training opportunities.
